Remember the Alamo

Today while Matt was busy playing with technology, I took the kids sight seeing. We are very close to the river walk, so we can leave the car behind and walk around town. First thing on our list was the Rivercenter Mall of course! After saying hello to Mickey and Hello Kitty we checked in on Matt. His conference is at the convention center right on the river walk. This makes getting around pretty easy for me with the kids.

Next we decided to go street level to check out the Alamo.

They look excited to see it don't you think? (Mom, isn't there a picture of me and Holly in front of the Alamo with the same expressions on our faces?) Actually, they liked it. Micah loved Davey Crockett's rifle and knife. Micah found a new building that had jewelry from the mission and more weapons. Micah kept looking for the dead guys. (I guess Noah and I gave him too much information.)

We are having fun, doing lots of walking and swimming! Tomorrow Noah plans to check out all the high tech vendors with Matt. We might go catch the trolley down to Market Square or ride up to the top of the Tower of the Americas. We'll let you know what we decide!
