Palo Duro Trek

The last leg of our trip was a night in Palo Duro Canyon. I had never been before. I was amazed at how big and beautiful it was. We spent the night in a cabin there in the canyon. The next day we hiked a bit before coming home.

Red River Adventure

We jogged up to Red River last week. Camped outside town in the Carson National Forest. It was a great end to the summer. Matt goes to work tomorrow and the kids go in a little over a week.

Changes

We have made some changes to our landscape this summer. We were having water issues when we would get a significant rain.

Matt has installed a sprinkler system and planted grass in both the front and back yards. I only have pictures of the front. We plan to replant flowerbeds as well. But here is the progress so far.

Facebook

So sorry for the lack of posting. Matt and I have been playing with Facebook. It has side tracked us a bit.

And, although I love the simplicity and ease of Facebook, I think it is ugly. Everyone's page looks the same. No individuality about it. And, unless we are friends, you can't see my page.

So, I am going to try to keep up both.
