Oh no, Break out the cardboard!

Sometimes I feel like we are in the movie RV where the mom sends a text to everyone in the house to to let them know dinner is ready and they are all inside the same house! We buy our kids so much "stuff" we have mountains of toys that never get played with.

So I find it very telling yesterday at the park we saw a large hill and lots of cardboard and our kids immediately started going up and down the hill with squeals of delight. It reminds me that we must take pleasure in the simple things, and that our kids don't need all this "stuff".

So go grab you a cardboard box and let your kids dive in and let their imaginations run wild.
