Happy Independence Day 2007!

What can be more American than a small town parade on July 4th! We had a blast with the float "cuzinz." Thanks to Alvin for letting us use the Gator to cruise the parade route and practice our best parade wave.

Now it is time for a few awards.

I have to give Micah the award for Best Flag Waving. He consistently waved his flag with one hand while throwing candy with the other!

Avery gets the award for Most Generous Candy Thrower. Avery did a good job of keeping the parade watchers happy with candy.

Chloe gets the award for Miserly Candy Throwing for the length of the parade route. She did her best, but we still managed to run out of candy about half way.

Gabe gets the award for Best Decision Making. His choice to drive probably was an excellence choice over me and my crazy driving.

I must also give street cred to the Parade Emergency Response Team, consisting of Keely, Jillie, Jill, Vern, (yes I call him Vern).

Most Photogenic goes out the Robyn and all the great pictures she took today.

Alvin gets the award for Best Use of Equipment. His punctual timing this morning at the barn made it all possible.

We may not have won an award from the officials, but we had a lot of fun.
